1. What you are buying
For £1, you are buying one AI-generated digital pet portrait based on one uploaded photograph of one dog or one cat and one selected launch style. The finished portrait is supplied digitally by email as a JPEG. The launch output is 4:5 and currently generated at 1600 × 2000 pixels.
2. Price and payment
The total price for one order is £1. Payment is handled securely by SumUp. Pawtraits for a Pound does not receive or store your full card details.
3. Your photograph
You must own the photograph you upload or have permission from the rights holder to use it for this purpose. The photograph should show one dog or cat clearly enough for portrait creation. Please do not upload photographs containing a prominent identifiable person, multiple pets or content you do not have the right to provide.
4. Automated processing and AI-generated artwork
Your photograph is processed using automated systems to check suitability, generate the portrait and quality-check the result. AI-generated artwork involves interpretation. We aim to preserve recognisable identity and important visible markings, but the result will not be a pixel-for-pixel reproduction of the source photograph.
5. Source-photo failures
If the uploaded photograph is not suitable for reliable automated portrait creation, we may ask you to provide a clearer photograph of the same pet. A replacement-photo request does not create another charge.
6. Delivery
Delivery is by email to the address entered during the order. Most processing is automated and may complete quickly, but please allow up to 24 hours. Check spam or junk folders if the delivery email has not appeared.
7. Revisions, failed generation and refunds
Routine artistic revisions are not included in the £1 product. If the service cannot produce or deliver a usable portrait because of a technical or fulfilment failure, we may regenerate the portrait, request a replacement source photograph or provide an appropriate refund. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory consumer rights.
8. Cancellation rights and immediate digital supply
This is digital content supplied electronically. UK consumer cancellation rules may apply. We will only rely on the loss of a statutory cancellation right where the express consent and acknowledgement required by law have been obtained before supply begins. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
9. Use of your finished portrait
Subject to applicable law and any third-party rights, you may use the delivered portrait for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, including personal printing and sharing on your own social accounts. You may not resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the portrait without written permission.
10. Problems and complaints
If something goes wrong, email near2medigital@gmail.com with your order ID and a short description of the issue.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
